October 1924: "A miserable miscreant with a mania for collecting souvenirs has knocked off the brass cap, marking the elevation and name of Tiffany Peak, and made away with it." (Six Twenty-Six)
August 6, 1930: “Mrs. Van De Camp and little children of Pine Creek and Donald Eighme went to Tiffany Mt. Tuesday to spend a few days with Mrs. Van De Camp's son Stanley, who is the lookout there this season.” (The Wenatchee Daily World)

Paul Downs of the forest service in the Conconully district left Monday for Tiffany mountain lookout station. This mountain has an elevation of 8000 feet, is five miles above Salmon Meadows and overlooks both the Okanogan and Methow country.” (The Wenatchee Daily World)
