August 5, 1930: “Ranger Weeman in charge of the district here has gone to Pyramid Mountain for an inspection. A new lookout station is to be set on the highest point of this peak in the next few weeks.
All material for the station will be cut and assembled, then dismantled and sent to the peak by pack horse; in all about five tons of material are used.” (The Wenatchee Daily World)
