1944: Aircraft Warning Station "Jig 2-7" used existing facilities owned by the State. Additional building included a 14 by 32 cabin using AWS funding. At the end of service the site was retained by the State of Washington for fire detection purposes. (Report of Aircraft Warning Service, May 1, 1944)
1947: "During the year, we built a lookout tower near Electron, on Section 31, Township 18 North, Range 6 East. The tower has legs of Western Red Cedar, bracing is of fir. The cab is a framed upright building, 8 x 8 feet dimensions, with a pyramid roof. A cat walk two feet wide surrounds the cab. Entrance is by trap door through the floor. The lookout living quarters consist of an abandoned Air Raid Warning Service house, which is well constructed and adjoins the lookout tower." (40th Annual Report of the Washington Forest Fire Association)
1963: The tower was removed.
