October 16, 1943: Aircraft Warning Service Station Tare 7-1 was deactivated. The AWS added a sleeping quarters to the sites improvements. Upon deactivation the site was retained by the Forest Service for continued use as a lookout station. (Report of AWS Stations. May 1, 1944)
