May 27, 1961: "Lowry Construction Co. of Wenatchee was apparent low at $72,578 to build an unmanned gap filler facility as part of a radar installation nine miles northeast of Wenatchee near Badger Mountain Lookout Station. THE APEX OF THE HOUSE WAS USED. AN INTERSECTION STATION.
