May 15, 1930: “Richard Basset has been employed to attend the lookout station on Badger Mountain, this season. He will begin his duties in a week or two.” (The Wenatchee Daily World)
May 27, 1961: "Lowry Construction Co. of Wenatchee was apparent low at $72,578 to build an unmanned gap filler facility as part of a radar installation nine miles northeast of Wenatchee near Badger Mountain Lookout Station. The Carroll Co. of Portland was second low at $72,760." (Port Angeles Evening News)

STATION LOCATED JUST BELOW THE TOP OF A HIGH MESA 8 MILES NNE OF
WENATCHEE AND ABOUT 1-1/2 MILES E OF THE COLUMBIA RIVER.
THE APEX OF THE HOUSE WAS USED. AN INTERSECTION STATION.
